Thank you to everyone who joined us for Meet the Teacher Night! It was wonderful to see our students and families meet our staff, tour classrooms, and get ready for an amazing school year.

A special thank you to our dedicated staff for going above and beyond to welcome our students and families. Your hard work and commitment made the evening a success!

We can’t wait to welcome all of our Bobcats on Monday, August 10, at 7:50 a.m. Breakfast is provided for all students every morning, so please plan to arrive on time and ready for a great first day!

We’re proud that Dwight Middle School was recognized at South San Antonio ISD Convocation as the secondary school that showed the most improvement! This recognition reflects the hard work and dedication of our incredible staff.

Today, our Dwight Middle School staff kicked off the year with professional learning focused on one of our instructional priorities: student discourse through intentional questioning. Through collaboration and practice, our teachers strengthened strategies that will help students think critically, communicate confidently, and engage deeply in learning.

A special thank you to McDonald’s of Castroville for generously sponsoring our breakfast and helping us start the year off right!

Hoy, el personal de Dwight Middle School dio inicio al año escolar con aprendizaje profesional enfocado en una de nuestras prioridades de instrucción: el diálogo académico de los estudiantes mediante preguntas intencionales. Yesterday, we welcomed Dwight Middle School’s newest teachers to South San ISD during New Teacher Orientation. We are excited to have them join our Bobcat family and can’t wait to welcome our entire Dwight staff tomorrow as we kick off an amazing school year together!

💉 Back-to-School Immunization Clinic

Bobcat Families,

If your student needs vaccines before the start of the school year, CHRISTUS Children’s Mobile Clinic will offer no-cost immunizations for students with Medicaid, no insurance, or underinsured coverage.

If your child plans on taking Athletics or participating in school sports this year, please make sure their sports physical is completed before the first day of school.
