James Madison FFA showed up BIG for Meet the Mavs as we kicked off the new school year surrounded by students, families, friends, and our Maverick community!

There’s nothing better than starting the year together and seeing so many of our FFA members ready for another year of leadership, competition, agriculture, friendships, and making memories.

We’re excited for everything ahead and can’t wait to see what this group accomplishes this year.

This school year marks the 50th anniversary of James Madison High School — and with it, 50 years of memories, traditions, friendships, and generations of students who have helped shape the James Madison FFA Chapter into what it is today.

To celebrate, we want to hear from YOU!

Were you a Madison FFA member? An officer? A parent, teacher, supporter, or part of an FFA family? We would love for our alumni and community members to help us look back on the last five decades by sharing your favorite photos and memories.

Support our Advanced Floral Design students while bringing a little something beautiful home each month!

Families and community members can subscribe to Maverick Blooms and receive one student-made floral arrangement each month from September through May. Every arrangement is designed and created by our Advanced Floral students and will reflect the season, holiday, or theme of that month. 🌻🍂🎄🌷

Your subscription is more than just flowers, it gives our students valuable hands on experience in floral design, customer service, production, and running a real floral business. Every order helps provide meaningful educational opportunities for our students while allowing them to showcase the skills they are learning in class.

Happy First Day of School from your FFA Officers & Ag Teachers! 💙💛

A new school year brings a fresh start, new opportunities, and another chance to grow into something even better than we were before.

Over the past few years, we’ve learned a lot about resilience, adapting to change, supporting one another, and continuing to show up even when the road hasn’t always been easy. Those lessons have helped shape who we are, and now we’re ready to take everything we’ve learned and move forward.

This year, we’re choosing to focus on growth, positivity, new possibilities, and the future ahead of us. We’re excited to build new traditions, celebrate big and small victories, strengthen our FFA family, and make this a year filled with memories we’ll be proud to look back on.

Here’s to turning the page, planting new seeds, and seeing just how much we can grow. 🌱✨

We have a lot to look forward to, and we can’t wait to see what this year brings.
