Buckner Fanning School at Mission Springs (BFSMS), an accredited Pre-K through 5th-grade school is a beacon of education in the Stone Oak Community. BFSMS is committed to providing educational excellence and Christian Principles serving the mind, body, and soul. We are a strength-based school, harnessing the potential of educators to then empower students to do what they do well. We partner with parents to discover student's talents and then develop them into strengths that will have a life-long impact. We are committed to exemplary academics using a combination of Core Knowledge, Singapore Math, STEAM, Fine Arts, and Christian Education. We are incredibly proud of our students and staff who make BFSMS an outstanding school. Evidence of this is in our Stanford test scores, which consistently show student performance at an average of three grade levels ahead in math and reading. Contributions to this include:

Small class sizes with individualized instruction ensuring each student learn in their own optimal way. Exceptional curriculum, paired with experienced educators, results in students performing at grade levels above their current level. STEAM, an array of enrichment classes as well as a fine arts program educates the whole child and helps unlock their talents to become well-rounded individuals. One of our kindergarten classes brought Psalm 104:24 to life: “In wisdom You made them all; the earth is full of Your creatures.” As they explored different animals, we were reminded that God’s creation is full of beauty, and our students are the cutest creatures of all! 😍
