Ready to reach your goals before summer? Our accelerated Maymester session at NEISD Adult Education is the perfect way to level up your skills!
🗓️ REGISTRATION DATE: Monday, April 6th ⏰ TIMES: 9:00 AM OR 4:00 PM
📍 LOCATION: Ferrari Learning Center (107 W Rampart Dr.)
⚠️ IMPORTANT:
Registration must be done in person.
🚫 No children are allowed during the registration, testing or classes. Please plan accordingly!
MAYMESTER CLASS INFO:
Dates: April 28th – May 28th
Schedule: 3 days a week (Tues, Wed, Thurs)
AM Session: 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM
PM Session: 6:30 PM – 9:00 PM

Today, the NEISD Adult Education Program proudly celebrates our National Adult Education Honor Society Induction Ceremony! This special event recognizes students who have demonstrated outstanding dedication, perseverance, and academic achievement while pursuing their educational goals.
Our honorees represent the very best of adult education: individuals who have balanced work, family, and life responsibilities while remaining committed to learning and personal growth. Their hard work and determination inspire our entire community.

Trisha Royster and Bethany Newman presented today at the TALAE Conference in Austin, sharing how the partnership between NEISD Adult Education and NEISD CTE departments is expanding opportunities for adult learners through workforce certification programs.
Their session highlighted how collaboration across departments is creating stronger pathways to in-demand careers and supporting our community’s workforce development.
We are proud to see our program’s work showcased and celebrated!

In light of the extreme cold and the potential for hazardous icy conditions, NEISD has made the decision to close all schools and District offices on Monday, Jan. 26.

🎃 Mrs. Kamata’s 5th Annual Pumpkin Carving Party! 🎃

Our ESL students at Adult Education had a spooktacular time learning how to carve pumpkins; for some, it was their very first time! 🧡✨

It was a fun way to celebrate fall, practice English, and share in a new tradition together. Great job, everyone! 🎃🕸️🍂
