During her time away, we can now confirm that Gracie made several unofficial visits to BASIS San Antonio campuses.

🍎Witnesses report Gracie spent time peeking into classroom windows, reaching the highest library shelves with ease, and giving our students a new perspective on what it means to “stand tall” in pursuit of learning.

🗺️Congratulations to Gabe C., a 10th grader from BASIS San Antonio Shavano, on earning 3rd place in the first annual National Geography Bee National Championships!

Out of approximately 6,000 students from across the country, the top 38 competitors advanced to the national championships held in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

🥉Gabe’s outstanding performance and geographic knowledge earned him a top spot among the nation’s very best young geographers.

BASIS Shavano Student Earns Podium Finish at Inaugural National Geography Bee in Cambridge, MA BASIS San Antonio Shavano Celebrates Gabe C. for Third Place Finish at National Geography Bee. With over 6,000 participating students, Gabe was able to secure a podium finish.
