Looking for a structured writing course that will continue challenging your middle-school student?

Three IEW Structure & Style B-level courses are available for the 2026–2027 school year!

📘 Structure & Style Year 1 Level B
Wednesdays, 10:05–11:00 a.m. CST
Grades 6–8
No previous IEW experience is required, although it is helpful.

📗 Structure & Style Year 2 Level B
Wednesdays, 11:10 a.m.–12:05 p.m. CST
Grades 6–8
Completion of SSS-1B is recommended.

📙 Structure & Style Year 3 Level B
Wednesdays, 2:05–2:55 p.m. CST
Grades 6–8
Completion of SSS-1B and SSS-2B is highly recommended.

Students will move between creative storytelling and formal essay writing while learning to “dress up” their compositions. Year 3 also includes poetry!

Whether your student is beginning the IEW journey or ready for the next challenge, there is a course designed to meet them where they are.

Registration is open for 2026–2027 elementary writing!

Structure & Style Year 2 Level A is designed for students in 4th–6th grade who already have experience with the IEW writing method.

Throughout the year, students will explore engaging subjects while moving between creative storytelling and formal essay writing. They will continue strengthening their writing structure, style, and confidence in a supportive online classroom.

It’s been a little quiet around here—but for a wonderful reason! I had the privilege of spending my days helping students grow as writers, speakers, and confident communicators.

Now, after many months away from socials, I’m excited to be back—and even more excited to share my 2026–2027 class lineup!

This year’s online course offerings include:

Group classes begin in a little over one month and will be offered on Tuesdays and Wednesdays through Crescenza Studios. Whether your student is new to IEW or ready for a more advanced challenge, there are options designed to help your child develop strong skills while becoming a more confident communicator.

I am offering two six week courses. Storytellers Bootcamp is dedicated to our creative storytellers or those who need to stretch this skill. Ready for Research is ideal for the student who needs practice writing formal essays and reports. Both courses are rooted in IEW methods and are sure to be engaging and fruitful!

If you have a young learner you would like to prepare for kinder or early writing, Janelle is offering an eight week course that will teach all the basics! Her gentle style is sure to inspire your budding learner!
