Rule ☝️ 95% confidence interval = cuts off at 85
Rule ✌️Final ability estimate = cuts off at 150
Rule ☝️✌️ROOT - run out of time = if a student reaches 85 questions or greater, final ability estimate is used to determine pass or fail
❌ Avoid AI to read your NCLEX CPR
AI may be great for a lot of things….
Your NCLEX CPR is not one of them…
❌ It’s too vague & cannot explain to you the numerous bullet points in each client need category & subcategory…
✅ Well because it’s not a human brain 🧠
❌ And it will incorrectly tell you to only target below and near passing engine bypassing above passing….

❌ Purging = vomiting up that meal or…
❌ Purging can also be misuse of laxatives or enemas
❌Russell’s sign = calluses on the knuckles of hands from self induced vomiting
Anxiety techniques for NCLEX:
✅ Get to the testing center EARLY
✅ Use the 4-7-8 method of breathing to calm your nervous system
✅ Strongly consider test taking accommodations for test taking anxiety or distractions or noise
✅ Don’t panic if your NCLEX goes past 85 questions
✅ Take a bathroom break 1 hour into the exam
POV: You finally learned how to do
a bowtie for NCLEX
✅ ALWAYS start with the middle well. Get rid of 2-3 potential wrong conditions. Choose your potential condition
✅ Go to the left well - nursing interventions. Repeat step 1 & choose an intervention
✅ Move to the right well - nursing parameters. Repeat the same pattern & choose and nursing parameter.
✅ Left, right well again. Boom!! You just did a bowtie!
