Campus administration visited our school this weekend to walk the facility and ensure we’re ready for school on Monday, Aug. 31. We will begin school at our regular time, and buses will run on established schedules. We will be ready to greet your child with breakfast in the morning.

SAISD schools will operate on a normal schedule Monday, Aug. 31. CPS Energy continues working to restore service, and district teams are actively inspecting campuses to ensure they are safe, operational, and ready to welcome students and staff.

We will provide another update at approximately 6 p.m.

We are excited to prepare for the 2026–2027 school year! Please review the attached school supply list for your child’s grade level and begin gathering the requested items before the first day of school.

To help keep supplies organized, please label your child’s backpack, headphones, clothing, and other personal items with their first and last name.
