Friday is the final day for Backpacks for the school year.

Thank you for your continued support as we prepare to say goodbye to Carvajal Elementary. Below are important updates for events over the next seven days.

May 19 — Kite Day
Parents are invited to fly kites with their children. Students may bring their own kite or receive one from the campus. Parents must bring ID to receive a visitor badge from the main office.
Schedule:
8:00–8:45 AM — 4th & 5th Grade
9:00–9:45 AM — Head Start
10:00–10:45 AM — Kindergarten & 1st Grade
11:00–11:45 AM — 2nd & 3rd Grade

May 21 — Career Day
Students may dress up in their chosen career path.

May 25 — Holiday — No School

May 26 & 27 — Awards Day (Gymnasium)
Parents may check students out with their teacher once the entire ceremony has concluded.
Awards Ceremony Schedule:
May 26: 8:30 AM — Pre-Kindergarten; 9:30 AM — Kindergarten & 1st Grade; 10:30 AM — 2nd Grade
Class parties for Grades 3–5 — 1:00 PM
May 27: 8:30 AM — 3rd Grade; 9:30 AM — 4th Grade; 1:15 PM — 5th Grade
Class parties for Head Start–2nd Grade — 1:00 PM

May 28 — Field Day (Last Day of School)
Field Day has been moved to May 28 due to anticipated weather concerns. Students will receive legacy shirts and cups that day.
Head Start–2nd Grade — 8:15–10:15 AM
3rd–5th Grades — 10:30 AM–12:30 PM
