Today in Kingdom Homeschool our little historians stepped back in time to learn about the people and cultures who lived on this land before the formation of the United States—the Indigenous peoples.
We got hands on to experience different artifacts like a mortar and pestle, hand woven clothing, hand embroidered clothing, toys carved out of wood and we learned to recognize God as the Creator of it all. 🌎❤️

Meet Mrs. Stella~
Hello friends! I am the Founder of Kingdom Homeschool, a faith-centered co-op where education, creativity, community, and faith come together. I also have the honor of serving alongside my husband as Co-Pastor of Kingdom Culture Church in San Antonio, Texas.
I was born in North Carolina and raised in a Marine Corps family, which gave me the opportunity to live in the Philippines, Japan, and throughout the southern United States before finishing school in Arizona. It was there that I met my college sweetheart. We have now been married for 19 years and are the proud parents of three incredible teens: Rihana, 18; Davina, 17; and Rhyan, 13.
Since 2017, I have led Kingdom Cultured Women’s Ministry, where my heart is to encourage women to know their identity in Christ and boldly walk in their God-given calling.
At the heart of everything I do is a desire to help people encounter Jesus, discover their identity, and live with Kingdom purpose. I carry a deep passion for raising up leaders and investing in the next generation—equipping young people to know who they are in Christ, discover their God-given gifts, and become bold Kingdom leaders who will impact generations to come.
My advice to our students: Know who you are in Christ, stay close to Jesus, and never let your age stop you from boldly living out the purpose God has placed on your life.
“Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.”
— 1 Timothy 4:12
Blessings!

Meet Mrs. Maria~
Hi, I’m Mrs Wood —a follower of Jesus, a wife to an amazing husband for 16 years , & mama of two beautiful kids.
I was born and raised in Guatemala, where I grew up as a pastor’s daughter. My parents are my heroes who helped me grow in my walk with Christ since I was 5, my faith in Jesus has always been the foundation of my life, and today HE remains the center of everything I do.
I’m blessed to homeschool my children and consider it one of my greatest callings. I love serving others with the gifts the Lord has entrusted to me, whether that’s through teaching Spanish, encouraging words, a warm meal, a creative project, or simply being present for someone who needs a friend.
You’ll usually find me crafting, cooking, decorating my home or spending time with family & friends and cheering on my kids at their sports. My favorite thing is cheering on others, I truly believe that kindness is never wasted, and one encouraging word can change someone’s entire day.
One of the verses that has carried me through every season is Exodus 14:14:
“The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”
If I could leave you with one piece of advice, it would be this: Always look for the good in others and never miss an opportunity to encourage them. Your words may be exactly what someone needs to keep going. 🤍

Meet Mr. Josh
A SGT (Ret) US Army
Crisis Responder Chaplain

“Married to Nikki Renschler 22 years, Father to 4: Jaden (21) Joel (18) Lilly (15) Lydia (13). I Love Jesus, my Awesome Family and America (in that order) Growing up, I disliked school until I began my focused studies at Liberty University. I learned that I, like many kids, did not thrive in school because I did not fit in the proverbial “box” that teachers wanted me to learn in. I never saw myself teaching teens but after 5 years of homeschooling my own kids, I truly enjoy teaching History in the Co-Op. My goal for the kids in our Co-Op is to teach them how to think, not what to think.
US History- Last year we spent the first half of the year learning Texas State History- from settling to annexation. The last half of the year we focused on US History from Colonization through the War of 1812. This year we will be picking up our studies in the Civil War- we will examine political/social/economic impacts of the War and then we will examine the Reconstruction Era and continue progressing through the key points in US History that shaped our Nation. We examine these issues from a neutral perspective and encourage open discussion. Because this co-op is designed to augment homeschooling rather than replace it, we skip a rigid curriculum. Instead, we use multiple historical sources to examine topics from several viewpoints.”

Meet Mrs Nicole ~
I’ve been teaching for 10 years, with formal training through the Texas Rising Star Program, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Child Care Training Program, and KIPP Texas Public Schools.
I’ve had the opportunity to teach in daycares, learning centers, public schools, and clients’ homes.
At Kingdom Homeschool, my goal is to make Christ the center of every lesson and to create an environment where children can learn, grow, and discover the purpose God has for them.
I’m honored to teach with purpose and lead with love!
Sincerely,
Mrs, Nicole
