Rainy weather didn’t stop the fun on Thursday!🌧️🐣

Our Easter egg hunt may have moved indoors, but the excitement was just as big! The children had so much fun searching for eggs, laughing with friends, and collecting lots of sweet treats. 🥚🍬

We love making special memories together — rain or shine!

This week at Early Ivy definitely came with a few unexpected challenges, but through it all our amazing teachers and incredible children showed just how strong our little community truly is. 💚

Even with the bumps along the way, our classrooms were still filled with learning, laughter, and lots of smiles. Our teachers worked so hard to keep routines going and create a fun, safe environment, and our students did what they do best—learn, play, and brighten our days.

We are so proud of our team and thankful for the patience and support from our families. It truly takes a village, and this week was a great reminder of how special our Early Ivy family is. 🌱

Thank you to our wonderful teachers and sweet students for making every day meaningful, no matter the challenges!

Oh, what a week in Pre-K we had! 📚🎉

In honor of Dr. Seuss Week, our class enjoyed a special read-aloud from Idea Public Schools and a tasty treat of “Green Eggs” cookies. The kids thought they were simply Seuss-tastic!

We also kept our learning going by practicing writing our names and beginning our unit on baby animals. From chicks to calves, we are excited to learn all about the little ones! 🐣

It has been a week full of fun, learning, and lots of smiles!

Our students have been exploring different animals, engaging in hands-on activities, and building their early writing skills. We are so proud of the progress they are making!

We’ve also enjoyed plenty of fun in the sun and outdoor playtime this beautiful week! ☀️🌿

We’ll be celebrating with fun activities, silly rhymes, and lots of our favorite stories as we encourage a love of reading throughout the week.

🍁🐾 September is here—and so is a whole world of learning and fun! 🐾🍁

This month, our preschoolers will be diving into the “Family & Pets” theme through the Experience Early Learning curriculum. Over the next four weeks, we’re celebrating all the love, laughter, and furry (or feathered!) friends that make our lives brighter!

Here’s what’s in store:
• Heartfelt Connections: Children will explore what it means to be part of a family—sharing stories about their home, siblings, and traditions.
• Pet Power: Whether it’s a dog, cat, fish, or imaginary creature, kids will learn about pet care, animal characteristics, and compassion for all living things.
• Creative Expression: Look out for adorable pet-themed crafts—think “My Pet Portrait,” friendship headbands, or family collages.
• Language & Social Skills: Through storytelling, group discussions, and role play, they’ll practice using words to express feelings, describe relationships, and build empathy.
• Family Newsletter: Watch your inbox for our newsletter, complete with ideas to extend the fun—and learning—at home!

We can’t wait to see the joy, curiosity, and creativity this theme will spark in our classroom. Let’s make September a month full of connection, discovery, and tail-wagging fun!

This week and next week are full of “see you laters”… not “goodbyes.” 💛

🎉 A BIG thank you to Time Bubbles for coming out to Early Ivy today for our Back to School Bash! 🫧 The kids had an amazing time — from dancing through bubbles to cooling off with the splash pads and rocket water sprinkler! 🚀💦

🎨✨ This week at Early Ivy, we had a special visit from Imagine Arts Academy—and what a blast we had! The children explored their creativity, learned fun new techniques, and got hands-on with some truly imaginative art projects. 🖌️🖍️

From colorful masterpieces to proud smiles, it was a week full of inspiration and joy. Thank you, Imagine Arts Academy, for bringing such a fun and enriching experience to our center!
