🏕️✨ Our adventurous 2-year-olds went on a camping trip... right inside the classroom! 🌲

They cozied up in their very own tent, gathered around a pretend campfire, and shared stories about one of nature's tiniest wonders—fireflies! 📚✨ Through books, imaginative play, and lots of giggles, our little campers explored the magic of the outdoors while building early literacy skills and sparking their imaginations.

Me Grow: I Can Do It!

Today our toddlers explored simple machines by using a ramp to make toy cars move! They discovered how changing the height and angle of the ramp affected how fast and how far the cars traveled.

This hands-on STEM activity encouraged our little learners to:
Explore cause and effect
Develop problem-solving skills
Practice turn-taking and teamwork
Build fine motor skills while experimenting

Watching their excitement as they tested different ideas and celebrated each successful run was priceless! Learning through play helps build curious minds and confident learners.

Exploring Space One Planet at a Time!

Today our little learners had so much fun making moon dough while learning all about the planets in our solar system! Through hands-on sensory play, the children explored different textures, used their imaginations, and talked about each planet and what makes it unique.

Activities like this help build fine motor skills, encourage creativity, and make learning exciting. We love watching our little astronauts discover the wonders of space!

💦🎈 What a WET and wonderful day at Summer Camp! ☀️

Today's challenge had our campers working together to transfer water balloons from one blanket to another without dropping them. It sounded simple... until the balloons started bouncing, rolling, and flying in every direction! 😂

The giggles were nonstop as campers laughed, planned their strategies, worked as a team, and chased runaway water balloons all over the classroom. It was the perfect mix of teamwork, problem-solving, and good old-fashioned summer fun!

Days like these are what summer memories are made of. 💙🌞

💦☀️ Splash Day was a huge success at Ivy Crest Academy! ☀️💦

There were smiles, laughter, and plenty of splashing as our friends cooled off and enjoyed some summer fun! Water play is more than just exciting—it helps children build gross motor skills, improve coordination and balance, strengthen social skills through cooperative play, and explore sensory experiences in a fun, hands-on way.

From running through the sprinklers to playing with friends, today was filled with unforgettable memories and lots of happy giggles. We love creating opportunities for our children to stay active, make new friends, and enjoy everything summer has to offer!
