Incoming 9th graders! Join us for Freshman Warrior Camp on Wednesday, August 19th from 5:00-7:00pm. This is a great opportunity for students to tour and learn more about our campus, gain insight from Pieper student-leaders, and make new friends while having fun!
Students can be dropped off and picked up at the Pieper front entrance for this event.
In addition, we look forward to seeing incoming freshman at our Freshman Warrior Welcome Day on Friday, August 21st from 2:00pm-4:00pm!

Warrior Welcome Days begin today! We are looking forward to seeing our students and families back on campus!
*Students who are unable to attend their assigned grade level session may come on Friday, August 21st from 2pm-4:00pm. If unable to attend on this date, schedules will be available on the first day of school.

The Comal ISD Board of Trustees has called a $567 million bond election for November 3, 2026. The proposal includes two propositions addressing safety and security, aging facilities, enrollment growth, student transportation, and classroom technology. Both propositions can be financed within the existing Comal ISD tax rate.

Lauren Bostick is joining our campus as a new Math teacher!
Lauren is passionate about helping students see the connection between what they learn in the classroom and how it applies to their everyday lives.
We are excited to welcome Lauren to Pieper and look forward to the creativity, energy, and engaging learning experiences she will bring to our students!

Please join us in welcoming Elizabeth Terry to Pieper High School!
Elizabeth Terry is joining our campus as our new Academic Career Advisor.
Elizabeth’s passion for education began at an early age through her love of working with students. While in high school, she participated in the Ready, Set, Teach program and quickly realized that education was the path she wanted to pursue. She has now spent 17 years in education, including 16 years serving students and families in Comal ISD.
Elizabeth has been part of Warrior Nation for the past 8 years at Pieper Ranch Middle School and is excited for the opportunity to continue supporting the same students and families as they transition to Pieper High School.
We are excited to welcome Elizabeth to our campus and look forward to the experience, support, and commitment she will bring to our students!

Please join us in welcoming Allison Cares to Pieper High School!
Allison Cares is joining our campus as our new Food Science and Intro to Culinary Arts teacher!
Allison has always loved helping others recognize that they are capable of more than they realize. She is excited to combine that passion with her love of cooking and real-world life skills to help students develop creativity, teamwork, confidence, and problem-solving skills they will use for years to come.
As she joins the Pieper community, Allison is most excited to be part of a school that values student growth both inside and outside the classroom. She looks forward to creating meaningful learning experiences and helping students discover their own potential.
One of Allison’s favorite mottos is:
“The best part about a mistake is deciding if it will be an anchor or a sail.”
We are excited to welcome Allison to Pieper and look forward to the experiences and opportunities she will bring to our students!

Please join us in welcoming Coach Thomas Campos, our new World Geography teacher and Football and Wrestling coach at Pieper High School!
Coach Campos was inspired to pursue education through his involvement in the community and coaching youth sports. He is passionate about helping students grow both in the classroom and through athletics.
He is especially excited to join the Warrior community alongside his five children, who will each be part of the Comal ISD family—from elementary and middle school to high school. He looks forward to growing with Warrior Nation both as an educator and as a parent.
His favorite saying is: “Anything worth doing is worth doing right.”

Please join us in welcoming Coach Mike Darr, our new Physical Education teacher and Defensive Coordinator at Pieper High School!
Coach Darr was inspired to pursue education by the teachers and coaches who made a lasting impact on his life. He hopes to have that same positive influence on every student and athlete he serves.
He was drawn to Pieper by the strong sense of family and is excited to become part of the Warrior tradition while helping students succeed both in the classroom and on the field.
His favorite quote is from Aristotle: “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.” And, as a defensive coach on Friday nights, he likes to add Mike Tyson’s reminder: “Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth!”
