We had the pleasure of hosting a Growing W.I.S.E. Career Panel at Young Women’s Leadership Academy, where students heard from three incredible women in STEM representing diverse paths and fields. 💜

From research at Texas Biomedical Research Institute, to leading the Genomics Core at UTSA, to careers in geology and geophysics, our panelists shared their journeys, challenges, and advice for pursuing STEM with confidence.

Hearing different perspectives helps students see that there isn’t just one path in STEM, there are countless possibilities. ✨

Family STEM Night at Carlos C**n Elementary was packed with curiosity and a little bit of science magic 🧬✨

Students extracted DNA from strawberries 🍓, built their own brain hats 🧠, colored STEM pages, and even stepped into the lab at our scientist photo booth 👩‍🔬👨‍🔬

Seeing kids get excited about science is exactly why we do what we do. Moments like these remind us that STEM should be hands-on, exciting, and accessible for every child.
