Some people are known for what they accomplish on the field. Others are remembered for the impact they make on those around them.

Ramon Richards has done both.

From Brackenridge High School to Oklahoma State, to the NFL and the 2019 NFC Champion Los Angeles Rams, Ramon has spent his life defying the odds and proving that hard work, faith, and character can take you far.

But beyond the accolades, Ramon has continued to lead by example—using his platform to encourage others, give back, and help guide the next generation down the right path.

Today, we proudly celebrate a great athlete, an even greater person, and a well-deserved honor.

Before there was a tradition, there was a team that built it.

The 1962 Brackenridge Eagles etched their names into Texas high school football history by capturing the State AAAA Championship and establishing a legacy that continues to inspire generations of Eagles.

More than 60 years later, their accomplishments are still remembered, celebrated, and respected throughout San Antonio and beyond.

Congratulations to the 1962 Brackenridge Eagles Football Team on their induction into the SAISD Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2026.

Today we had the honor of welcoming back a true Brackenridge legend.

Hall of Fame Coach Coach Hall, the winningest coach in SAISD history, stopped by to watch the Eagles compete and spend time with our program.

His impact on Brackenridge football and San Antonio high school athletics continues to inspire generations of players and coaches. We are grateful for the opportunity to learn from one of the best to ever do it.
