Meet Heidi 2.0! Thank you Petsmart for awarding our class a Pets in the Classroom sustaining grant. Heidi is a Winter White Dwarf hamster. We look forward to caring for her in our classroom!

We had a great first week back after our winter break. We played with some new STEM toys we received with our grant money. Thank you Firstmark Credit Union!

We got a surprise visit this morning from Firstmark Credit Union representatives. We have been awarded a $1,000 grant for STEM materials! Thank you Firstmark Credit Union!

A HUGE Thank You to TLRN (The Leaders Readers Network) for selecting me as a recipient for the Holiday Book Giveaway Project to provide books for our Mireles Elementary Early Childhood Family Engagement Night last night. Thank you to those who were able to join us last night. I was even able to give a book to our buddy class this morning. The students loved the books! We had a busy last couple of weeks and we are ready for some much needed rest and relaxation. Feel free to share your Family Engagement Night photos in the comments below!

We had another busy couple of weeks with lots of fun Halloween activities, Trick-or-Treating through our hallways on Halloween, fun with our new marble run, learning about Dia de los Mu***os, and a visit from our counselor.

We've been busy these past few weeks with a visit from our Pillar Pals, a visit to the library, a visit from our counselor, our annual Fall JAMBoree, and Multicultural Day presentations.
