Hutchins Elementary School hosted a Parent Merienda for parents of Dual Language and ESL students. Parents provided feedback to improve district programs. Afterwards parents learned how to create wreaths, they were excellent students.

We are delighted to extend an invitation to you for our upcoming Biliteracy Framework Overview. This training aims to enhance your skills in teaching and promoting bilingualism within the classroom, equipping you with effective strategies to support the language development of all your students.
During this training, you will have the opportunity to:
1. Explore the concept of biliteracy
2. Embrace translanguaging pedagogy: Learn how to create a supportive classroom environment where students feel empowered to use and develop their languages.
