Today we celebrated National Vegetable Day by cutting and exploring a variety of vegetables. The children used their fine motor skills while learning about different colors, textures, and healthy foods. Ask your child which vegetables they enjoyed exploring today!

Good evening KCLC families,

This is a reminder that all of our centers will be closed tomorrow in observance of Memorial Day. We hope everyone enjoys time with their families, friends, and loved ones. As we gather for cookouts, laughter, and time together, we also want to take a moment to remember the true meaning of this day.

Memorial Day is about honoring the brave men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country. For me, this day is deeply personal. These are some of my brothers that I lost while serving: SSG Lazaney, SGT Bull, SPC Williams, PFC Murdock, and PFC Winston. Their sacrifices, and the sacrifices of so many others, will never be forgotten. 🇺🇸

As a retired Army veteran, I ask that tomorrow we all take a moment to reflect, remember, and honor those who never made it home.

We will reopen with normal business hours on Tuesday.

KCLC officially booked our annual river trip for this year and I’m SO excited 😭☀️🌊

I’ll always stand on making sure my staff feels appreciated and taken care of because a strong team is the reason all of this is possible. They pour so much into these kids every single day, and they deserve to be poured into too.

We work HARD, but we also believe in making memories together outside of work. These trips always remind me how blessed I am to have a team that supports each other, laughs together, and truly feels like family.
