Hi families! ⛈️

With the bad weather expected in the San Antonio area, we just want to remind everyone to please drive safely when coming to pick up your children. Please allow yourself enough time to get here safely and avoid rushing in the storm.

We will continue monitoring the weather closely and following updates from our local ISD. If conditions worsen or there are any changes that could affect our hours or operations, we will communicate those updates with everyone as soon as possible.

Please be safe out there! ❤️

Big Learning and Little Chef’s

We were so busy mixing and creating that we missed a picture of the sticky action—but we captured the sweet results!

Cooking is more than making a treat—it’s hands-on learning that builds skills and confidence!

Our Pre K class targeted 3 learning areas this afternoon in one fun project😋

Language development: Naming ingredients and describing colors, textures, and actions.
* Social-emotional development: Taking turns, cooperating, and feeling proud of their creation.
* Sensory exploration: Exploring different textures, smells, colors, and tastes.

Sensory play is so much more than just fun—it supports development at every age! It helps children explore textures, strengthen fine-motor skills, encourage creativity, support language development, and engage their senses while learning through hands-on experiences.

POV: Your boss shuts down Lakeshore so the whole staff can shop 😂🛒💕

We had Lakeshore completely closed to the public this morning for 2 hours just for our Kiddie Corner teachers! 🥹

Watching them run around, fill their carts, compare what they were getting for their classrooms and have a good time was EVERYTHING. 😂

Our teachers pour so much into our babies every single day, so being able to turn around and pour back into THEM means so much to me.

And nowwww we can’t wait to see what they do with everything they got! 👀😂💕

Our teachers deserve it. Our babies deserve it. And those classrooms are about to be CUTE! 😂

Thank you Lakeshore for giving our Kiddie Corner family the whole store for the morning! 🛒🩷

When the beat drops… so does the learning! 🎶🟥🟨🟦🟩

Jump to the color!
Name the color!
Dance to the next one!

Learning colors while building gross-motor skills, coordination, balance, and confidence!

Just another episode of learning through play at Kiddie Corner Learning Center!

🍌🍨 Better late than never—Banana Split Day at Kiddie Corner! 🍓🍫

Our Kiddie Corner students had a deliciously fun Banana Split Day this week! 😋 But it wasn’t just about enjoying a yummy treat—we turned it into a hands-on learning experience!

👶 Our infants explored sensory play through different colors, textures, smells, and tastes.

🔢 Our older students practiced early math skills by counting, measuring, comparing amounts, and choosing how much of each ingredient to add.

🤏 Scooping, pouring, picking up toppings, and creating their own banana splits also helped strengthen those important fine-motor skills.

At Kiddie Corner, even dessert can become a learning opportunity! 🍌🍓🍨❤️

Learning is always sweeter when we can taste, touch, explore, and have FUN!

✨ Kicking Off an AMAZING New School Year at Kiddie Corner! ✨

We’re starting the year with morning circle time, building relationships, learning our classroom routines, meeting our teachers, and getting to know all of our new friends! 💕

🐛 Frog Street Themes This Week:
👶 Infants–Twos: My Face & Me
🌟 Pre-K 3: Awesome Me
🏫 Pre-K 4/Kinder: My School & Me

Circle time gives our children the opportunity to talk, listen, sing, read, learn about one another, and begin feeling comfortable and confident in their classroom community.

New friends. New teachers. New routines. New adventures. ❤️

We are SO excited for an amazing, fun-filled 2026–2027 school year full of learning, laughter, growth, and memories! 📚✏️

Let the learning begin!
New Friends welcomed.
