Cotton Academy has been assigned a new afterschool provider for the upcoming school year: Boys and Girls Clubs of San Antonio (BGCSA).
Registration Schedule:
*Online Registration: Opens August 3, 2026, at 7:00 AM. https://afterschoolhq.com/begreatsa/activity/cottonacademy
*In-Person Registration: Hosted on August 6, 2026, at the Mays Clubhouse (pending seat availability).

Key Information for Families:
*Payment Method: Registration fees must be paid online.
*Registration Fees: Pricing follows the City of San Antonio’s sliding-scale fee schedule.
*Fee Assistance: Parents who need help determining their tier prior to registering can contact BGCSA directly at (210) 436-0686.

Reminder: This Thursday, June 25 at 5:30 p.m., the public is invited to a community discussion centered around the positive vision for Edison High School. The district wants to hear from current, former and future Golden Bears. Families will also get to meet the campus’s new interim principal and athletic coordinators.

We’d love to hear from you – especially if you have a child who attends Edison, wants to attend Edison, or is currently in a school that will feed into Edison. Please contribute to the vision!
