Please join Autism Community Netwok this Friday for Coffee & Connection. This week we will be hosting Dr. Christine Wu Nordhal, PhD from UC Davis Mind Institute to discuss: Girls and Women on the Spectrum: Recent Clinical and Biological Insigths.
Dr. Nordahl directs the UC Davis MIND Institute Autism Phenome Project (APP) and Girls with Autism - Imaging of Neurodevelopment (GAIN Study), two interrelated longitudinal, interdisciplinary studies aimed at identifying clinically meaningful subtypes of autism. She is particularly committed to evaluating the entire autism spectrum, including girls with autism as well as the entire range of autism severity and intellectual abilities.
Dr. Nordahl's clinical interests are aimed at understanding how the brain develops during early childhood in both development and in neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism. She utilizes structural and functional MRI to study the developing brain.
Coffee & Connection begins promptly at 9am CST via Zoom. This program is free and open to the public thanks to a partnership with the City of San Antonio Department of Human Services.
If you are interested in joining this session please email Patty Vela at [email protected].
