Here’s a glimpse into her transformation, in her own words:

*"The furniture restyling started almost exactly 1 year ago. I found a small two-tier table along the roadside. Some sanding, some paint, and an asymmetrical design, and I was hooked.

At the same time in my life, I had to give up my passion for horses. I started riding 9 years earlier. It filled many hours of the day, most every day of the week. Hunting and jumping, running through the forests and alongside the breaking waves of the beach enthralled me. However, because of spinal issues, I had to quit suddenly and sell my horses. So this left many empty hours to fill.

Suddenly every sad old piece of furniture became my muse.

I started designing pieces for my home, but it soon became filled. So I now sell with half of profits going to charity.

Although I have tried different styles, I seem to have focused my attention on very old veneer pieces. I love the beautiful patterns nature creates in the wood and enjoy bringing them back to life."*
