📢 Morning Drop-Off Reminder

Mustang families, we wanted to share a quick reminder about our morning drop-off procedures for this school year.

At the recommendation of our former campus officer, Officer Muñoz, this procedure was put in place to help improve the safety and flow of morning drop-off.

🚗 Kinder–5th grade students should be dropped off in the back of the school.
🚗 Pre-K students should be dropped off in the front.

Please remember that staff will be present to help ensure students exit safely and enter the building, but staff will not be opening car doors.

📢 Recordatorio sobre la llegada por la mañana

Familias Mustang, queremos compartirles un breve recordatorio sobre nuestros procedimientos de llegada por la mañana para este año escolar.

Por recomendación de nuestro anterior oficial escolar, el oficial Muñoz, se implementó este procedimiento para ayudar a mejorar la seguridad y el flujo vehicular durante la llegada.

🚗 Los estudiantes de Kínder a 5.º grado deben ser dejados en la parte de atrás de la escuela.
🚗 Los estudiantes de Pre-K deben ser dejados en la entrada principal.

Recuerden que nuestro personal estará presente para asegurarse de que los estudiantes bajen de manera segura y entren al edificio; sin embargo, el personal no abrirá las puertas de los vehículos.

Learning, collaborating, & putting it into practice!🍎📚

Before school started, some of our teachers led professional development sessions and shared strategies that work in their own classrooms. A special thank-you to Ms. Palacios, Mr. Martinez, and Ms. Flores for sharing their knowledge with our staff!

Our teachers have also been collaborating during Math and Bluebonnet Learning PLCs and putting their learning into action with their students. We are proud of our Mustangs for continuing to learn and grow together! ❤️💙

Harlandale ISD’s Student & Family Support Services team works every day to connect families with resources, opportunities and support throughout their educational journey.

From Family Nights, Parent Education and Adult ESL classes to ACE Programs, Migrant Student Services, CARE Center Support and Wellness Classes the team helps meet the needs of our students, families and community.
They also partner with organizations across San Antonio to bring resources directly to our families through mobile food distributions, community events, toy drives and more.
