The Image Flow invites photographic artists closely tied to the LGBTQIA2+ community to submit work to our 4th Annual juried photography exhibition, Q***r Conscience 2026.

We probably don’t need to inform you that q***r rights are under attack, unlike ever before. Q***r Conscience seeks to push back against these forces and affirm our own truths through the photographic medium.

In this juried exhibition, set to coincide with Pride month, we ask q***r artists to express their resistance and share their truest q***r journeys with us. Join us in celebrating our community and our creativity with a clear conscience.

In 2008, Stuart Schwartz founded The Image Flow with one initial goal: to provide high-quality photographic printing services to Marin County – because, in the words of Stuart, “it’s not a photograph until it’s a print.” The Image Flow aims to celebrate photography in all its forms and to provide a local hub for photographers of all levels to create work, exchange ideas, and innovate the medium of photography.

“We believe in the power of the printed image, building a community of creatives, and being a space to come together to celebrate art.” - Page Sullivan, Front Desk & Digital Media Manager

"In a world defined by busyness, I choose to wander. I slow down, pause, and notice the quiet beauty that is so often passed by. My photography grows from these moments of stillness, when nature reveals itself not as a backdrop, but as a presence to be felt." - Kimberley Carr Harmon
