This week we have quite a few 3-year-olds and they were definitely born for adventure! Every day they are trying new things, facing their fears, and learning more about themselves and each other! Did you know that regular, outdoor exploration supports brain development, proprioception, skill building, and self-regulation?!

We’re excited to be opening a new Friday Nature School at Snails & Turkey Tails! Ours is a small, relationship-based outdoor learning community where children spend their day exploring, creating, climbing, digging, building, and discovering the natural world around them. Rather than following a set curriculum, we follow the children’s curiosity and the changing seasons. A fallen log becomes a building project. An insect becomes a science lesson. A handful of acorns can inspire a whole morning of play. Join us Fridays for small group, nature-based, hands-on learning near downtown San Anselmo. Nature School is perfect for young children ready for a nature-rich drop-off experience. Enrollment is now open for the fall 12-week semester.
