We were so lucky to have student performers at YES Fest this year! Bexley Moore is currently a 6th grader at White Hill Middle School, but last year she performed in “Annie” for Hidden Valley Elementary’s YES Theater production. As always, she gave a phenomenal performance!

YES Theater productions are available to students in 3rd-5th grade at the Ross Valley elementary schools and 6th-8th at White Hill Middle School as after school enrichment. Visit yestokids.org/theater to learn more about the program including upcoming production schedules for each of our five schools.

Thank you again to everyone who came out to YES Fest 2026. Your support and donations make programs like these possible, and set the foundation for - do we dare say it? - future super stars!

🪩 YesFest is a little more than three weeks away, so we thought we’d let you in on some of the behind-the-scenes details - like the making of this year’s fantastic YesFest poster designed by Conor Buckley Conor Buckley, the YES Board Creative Lead! As an arts education foundation, we take art and artists seriously, and we’re lucky Conor volunteers his time to support our mission. Conor is the in-house illustrator at Discord and also consults on design work for Outside Lands. At YES, Conor designs assets like posters but also ensures we keep a consistent look/feel throughout our collateral. Most importantly, Conor is a Brookside dad! Say hi 👋 if you see him around!

5th grade is a big year for RVSD students, and one of the most exciting milestones is choosing an 🪊🎻🎺🎤 instrument! Students can explore trumpet, trombone, flute, clarinet, violin, cello, or voice (choir) and learn during the school day from the music teachers who have been part of their elementary music journey. (For curious parents of younger students, the musical instrument choice typically takes place in 4th grade!)

This is where years of foundational music education come to life. During 5th grade, students build new skills, confidence, and a love of making music together.

YES Foundation is proud to fund music education that gives every RVSD student the opportunity to learn, create, and perform.

YES Theater instills a confidence in kids that will stick with them for the rest of their lives. We are so honored (and a little emotional) that Hidden Valley 5th grader, Bexley Moore, used her promotion time to appreciate YES. This is what the YES Foundation and your support are all about.
