Happy 102nd Birthday to Coach Phil George!

A legendary coach, mentor, and friend to Angelo State University and the Concho Valley, Coach George's impact on generations of student-athletes and the Ram Family is immeasurable.

His legacy continues to inspire us, and we are grateful for all he has done—and continues to do—for ASU.

Please join us in wishing Coach George a very happy birthday!

We’re excited to share that, in partnership with Angelo State’s Center for Career & Professional Success, the ASU Alumni Association is relaunching the Rams Connect Mentorship Program.

This program connects alumni directly with students to provide career guidance, share real-world experiences, and help them navigate their next steps with confidence. The time commitment is small, but the impact is meaningful — students gain valuable insight, and mentors help shape the next generation of Rams.

We invite our alumni and friends to learn more about the mentorship program below and consider getting involved!

Last night’s Senior Sendoff hosted by the Angelo State University Alumni Association was such a special evening celebrating the next chapter for our graduating Rams and Rambelles.

Seniors enjoyed decorating their graduation caps, getting professional headshots, and taking home some fun prizes throughout the evening. We are proud of each graduate and can’t wait to see the impact they make beyond Angelo State. 💙🐏💛

This spring, we celebrated one of Angelo State’s most cherished traditions, the Ring Ceremony. Each ring tells a story of perseverance, growth, and the journey that led to this moment.

To our newest ring recipients:
Your hard work has brought you here, and we could not be prouder. May your Angelo State ring always reflect where you’ve been and all that lies ahead.

Thank you to the families, friends, faculty, and staff who helped make this celebration so special.

Congratulations, Rams. Your story is just getting started.
