We are currently a 4A school who serves students 9th-12th grade. We are proud to share the achievements of San Angelo ISD students and staff, as well as other relevant community information and events, through our District and campus pages. The purpose of the District’s pages is to push out information to the school community about school events and activities, and to ensure that information is easily accessible for members of our community: employees, parents, family members and students. The San Angelo ISD district and campus pages are provided for the district community by the San Angelo ISD Communications Department and authorized campus staff. We will update these pages as often as possible to share as much as we can about San Angelo ISD and the achievements of the students and staff as well as other district community information. The District permits the posting of comments on these pages as long as those comments do not interfere with the stated purpose of these pages, which is to provide easily accessible, accurate information to our community about SAISD events and activities in a manner that is appropriate for the school setting. The page administrators will review all postings to make sure they do not run afoul of the rules nor of the District’s Acceptable Use Guidelines regarding Internet access and practices. Comments that violate these rules are subject to being hidden or deleted from these pages. San Angelo ISD is not responsible for the content posted on these sites by site visitors and does not endorse any content posted by site visitors. We welcome your thoughts and comments and look forward to what you have to say. However, we will hide or delete comments if:
• The content is obscene, vulgar, or otherwise inappropriate for a school setting, including the use of profanity or sexual language.
• The content endorses actions that could endanger the health or safety of students.
• The content promotes illegal use of drugs, alcohol, or other controlled substances.
• The sharing of the content violates the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other rights of another person.
• The content includes defamatory statements.
• The content is in violation of the law or advocates imminent lawless or disruptive action and are likely to incite or produce such action.
• The content includes language that attacks a person or group based on race, ethnicity, national origin, sex, disability or other protected classification.
• The content is unrelated to the subject of the original post. This includes spam (i.e., repeatedly posting the same comment(s) for the purpose of advertising or promoting a service, product or ideology), campaign advertisements, and complaints or concerns that should be directed to the District through the parent, employee or community grievance processes.
• The comment source is an imposter or fake account. Imposter or fake accounts will be removed and the account banned. You can appeal the ban by emailing [email protected] with documentation, such as a driver's license or government-issued ID, showing account authenticity.
• State false or inaccurate information about a school event or activity. The page administrators reserve the right to not post or to turn off comments at any time. Please help us maintain these pages as a valuable source of information for the SAISD school community.
