Fort Concho Elementary is both a neighborhood school, and a Gifted and Talented magnet school serving students from all over San Angelo.
Our school sits on the property of the Fort Concho National Historic Landmark. This historical fort encompasses most of the former Army post and includes twenty-three original and restored structures. Fourth Grade teachers had a great send off to our 5th grade leaders of next year with a “Tag, You’re It!” Game with their students! I think the teachers won!!! 😂😂😂😂

There was lots to celebrate at the end of this year! Our retiring teacher, Mrs. Watson, our wonderful custodians, Caroline and Paulina, and three of our fabulous teachers who will not be returning! We will miss you Mrs. Ruiz-Luna! We know you and your hubby will love your new positions in Breckenridge! Mrs. Thomas will be staying home loving on that beautiful baby boy, Weston, and Miss Jasso is going back to school to work on her master’s degree!!! Congratulations to all of these SUPERHEROES!!! Congratulations to the 58 students that had PERFECT ATTENDANCE this entire year! We had close to 200 students with perfect attendance for the first semester! What an accomplishment! This precious girl knows it “PAYS” to go to school!!! She was the winner of the $100 bill this year! Thank you to our PTO for supporting our students through our “Jumping for Georges” initiative!!!
