This morning, Mayor Brenda Gunter read a proclamation recognizing September 15-October 15 as National Hispanic Heritage Month in San Angelo. Really appreciate the 5th Grade Teachers at Fort Concho Elementary for having a Zoom meeting this morning just to check in with their students (making sure they were warm and have water), letting the kids see their friends for a few minutes, and spending some time having fun during a virtual scavenger hunt. It was good for this Momma’s soul! (And I know the kids enjoyed it, as well!)
