Plein Air Texas EnPleinAirTEXAS is a national juried plein air competition hosted by the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts What is EnPleinAirTEXAS?

EnPleinAirTEXAS is held annually in San Angelo, Texas. Artists from anywhere in the world can apply beginning January 1 of each year to be one of the 34 Competition Artists selected who compete for a week in October, painting outdoors, 'en plein air'. Sale at the National Historic Landmark, Fort Concho Stabels. The event is hosted by the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts, awarded numerous prestigious national honors; along with a colorful palette of talented and energetic volunteers and local artists. All proceeds benefit the Art Museum's education programs.
