Adult Literacy Council of the Concho Valley We offer one-on-one instruction and small group classes for ESL, GED, Citizenship, and Computer Skills

We provide free one-on-one or small-group tutoring for English as a second language, English conversation and basic literacy. We also have experienced teachers to help with GED preparation and basic keyboarding.

We are considering adding a Financial Literacy Class to help adults build confidence with money and everyday financial decisions.

This class could cover:
• Creating a monthly budget
• Understanding credit and loans
• Saving for emergencies
• Setting financial goals

Last year we began a citizenship class, meeting every Monday from 6pm-7pm. We help our students complete their applications, study all 100 civics questions for the naturalization test, and helped them become more comfortable with English!

Last month we had our first student, Paula, become naturalized! Thank you Concho Valley Republican Women for providing the medals for the new citizens. It is now one of her most cherished possessions.

Please help us congratulate Paula in becoming a United States Citizen!

We will be closed next week. We follow the schedule of the SAISD. Merry Christmas and have a great new year!!!!!! We want to help all ages with reading, math, writing, etc. We are changing a bit---from the Adult Literacy Council to the Concho Valley Learning Center. Each one....Teaches one!!!!!!
