At this year's banquet, we celebrated our 18 graduating seniors, awarded those who went above and beyond in the program, and reflected upon the year's many achievements, donor-funded travel, hours spent in service to our community, multiple student publications, and more. This Monday, we celebrated another year of our Community Involvement Initiative with our annual Community Board Appreciation Dinner. Through this Initiative, students serve on various nonprofit and city boards around town, where they have the opportunity to be changed by valuable experience and relationships with our incredible community partners.
In reflecting upon their experience with their board, one student stated, "I can’t emphasize enough how much this experience has meant to me. I have never been part of something so rewarding, and I’m truly looking forward to continuing to serve.”
