As part of the national Partners in the Park® initiative, student Courtney Turner joined some of her National Collegiate Honors Council (NCHC) peers in the Indiana Dunes National Park for a few days of hiking, kayaking, park service, community building, and more.

student, Ash Allison, spent her summer conducting undergraduate research on ice nucleation in Austria through a summer research experience with Virginia Tech. After six weeks of field and lab research, Ash and her team returned to the states to present their findings at Virginia Tech's annual Summer Undergraduate Research Symposium. Way to represent through this experience!

student Melanie Rainey spent three weeks participating in the Lex Fellowship's pre-law program in Rome, Italy. We are thrilled to share a glimpse of her time there and express gratitude for our Alvin New Family Summer Travel Grant that makes these trips possible.

We are proud to present Angelo State University with a $2,500 for Campus Champions!🎉

ASU's incredible tutors have assisted WHIT in providing free tutoring over 600 foster children across Texas — and we couldn't do it without them. Thank you, , for helping us show up for foster kids every single day.

At this year's banquet, we celebrated our 18 graduating seniors, awarded those who went above and beyond in the program, and reflected upon the year's many achievements, donor-funded travel, hours spent in service to our community, multiple student publications, and more. We will miss these graduates but are excited for the many endeavors they will pursue after their time here at .

Three students were recognized at 's Academic Excellence Awards including Presidential Award winner, Isabel Gilbert; Distinguished Student from the College of Science and Engineering, Lizzie Scales; and nominee from the Dr. Arnoldo De León Department of History, Jude Stephens (not pictured due to the Lone Star Conference Baseball Tournament).
