San Angelo Suzuki Strings offers private lessons in violin, viola and cello. Certified Suzuki instructor Paula Woyton holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in music from the University of Texas in Austin. An accomplished violinist and musician, Woyton performs with the Big Spring Symphony Orchestra and the Midland-Odessa Symphony. She was concertmaster for the San Angelo Symphony for numerous year

s. Woyton received her Suzuki certification through instruction with Shinichi Suzuki himself. Students may begin lessons as young as four and continue for life. Woyton's students consistently rank highly in competitive Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) regional high school orchestras, receive outstanding ratings at UIL and Texas Federation of Music Educators competitions, and continue in careers as professional musicians or educators.
