🚔💙 BIG SMILES, LITTLE BEARS, AND ONE AMAZING SRO! 🐻⭐
Officer Bruce Stewart is proof that the best part of being an SRO is building relationships, one Crockett Bear at a time! 💙 From answering questions to sharing laughs and making special memories, Officer Stewart reminds us that being a hero is about more than wearing a badge — it’s about showing up, building trust, and making our students feel safe and loved. 🫶
We’re so thankful to have Officer Stewart as part of our Crockett family! Thank you for keeping our campus safe and making a BIG difference in the lives of our little bears! 🐻🚔

We love our dedicated leader! Principal Goodnight’s heart for Crockett students, teachers, and families shines through in all she does. Thank you for everything you’ve done and continue to do for your Bears! 💙🐻

📅Before They Were Principals…

Before Mindy Goodnight was principal of Crockett Elementary, she was an elementary student who loved reading - especially spending time in her teacher Mrs. McNutt’s “reading nook.”

Mrs. McNutt was her favorite elementary teacher, and one of Mrs. Goodnight’s favorite memories was getting to serve as her teacher assistant.

These days, Mrs. Goodnight is the one helping create special school memories for students. Her favorite parts of being an elementary principal include hearing the stories her students can’t wait to share with her - and getting plenty of hugs along the way!

💙 Happy National Principals Month, Mrs. Goodnight!

🔬🛞 4th Grade Science in Action! 🛞🔬
Our 4th graders became scientists as they investigated friction and how different surfaces affect movement! 🧪 Students tested different surfaces to discover which ones created more or less friction by observing how far an object traveled.
Through hands-on experiments, our young scientists made predictions, tested their ideas, observed results, and used evidence to draw conclusions. They discovered how the surface beneath an object can affect its motion! 🚀
We love seeing our Crockett Bears learning through curiosity, exploration, and discovery!
