Start Date: 1/5/2026 (Negotiable)

As a Graduate Assistant, you will:
*Gain valuable leadership and facility management experience
*Work with a dynamic and supportive professional staff team
*Oversee the daily operations of the pool and recreational facilities
*Assist with planning, staffing, and supervising aquatics programming, safety trainings, and special events
*Play a key role in student employee development
*Have opportunities to attend professional development conferences

The Angelo State Unified “Incredibles” Flag Football and Basketball teams had an opportunity to compete against Texas Tech today. Thank you to our friends from for coming to our campus. It's that time of year again! Registration is open for summer swimming lessons through the Angelo State University Recreation and Intramural Sports. Starting as young as 6 months, kids of all ages are welcome! 🏊

UREC has 2 summer positions available: Camp UREC Instructor and Water Safety Instructor. Both positions pay $10.00 per hour. The Water Safety position does require an American Red Cross Certification (Water Safety Instructor Certification). This course will be held May 19th -23rd.

🚨New Weight Room Fitness Equipment is coming!

We are excited to announce that we will be replacing some fitness equipment in the Ben Kelly CHP Weight Room! The old equipment/machines being replaced will be moved out starting on Thursday. This will cause an interruption in your workout. The weight room will remain open, but not all equipment will be available. On Friday the new fitness equipment will be installed. We do apologize for the interruption, but we hope you enjoy our new equipment!

UREC has 2 summer positions available: Water Safety Instructor and Lifeguarding. We will have American Red Cross certification courses for both of these positions March 17 - 21st. Certification is required for employment.
