🎉 On Saturday, the Tom Green ECE Committee hosted our 9th Annual Wild About Kids Conference, and it was filled with incredible energy and learning! Huge thanks to Dr. Anna Burton and Katie McConnell-Whited from the Children’s Learning Institute, UT Health Houston, along with our very own Texas A&M AgriLife Project Specialist, Anna Raumaker, for kicking off the day with powerful sessions! 🙌 The excitement continued all day long with more top-notch speakers and hands-on learning opportunities. 🚀

Next year will be our 10th Annual Wild About Kids Conference, and while it will be tough to top this year, we’re already striving to make it even better! ✨

We are proud to announce our final 13 At-Large Delegate candidates for the 2025-2026 Texas 4-H Council! These youth will represent the entire state rather than their home district on the upcoming Council. Check back in next week for videos where you will learn a little bit more about our candidates. 🍀

Make plans now to join us virtually on Monday, June 2nd as the candidates share their speeches with Texas 4-H Roundup. Voting for the candidates will then be held online June 2-5 and will be open to all senior level 4-H members.

The “Spice Up Your Holiday” Workshop was a hit! With the help of our Healthy Texas Youth Ambassadors, participants enjoyed tasting each recipe and got hands-on with herbs and spices, learning to create festive holiday gifts like mason jar mix recipes, rosemary wreaths, herbed compound butter, herb-infused vinegar, and canned jalapeño jelly.
