🐑🌟 Youth in Action at the 2025 Texas Sheep & Goat Expo! 🌟🐐

Our future ag leaders brought their A-game at this year’s Texas Sheep & Goat Expo! The youth program was packed with hands-on learning, friendly competition, and unforgettable experiences.

👏 Kids participated in an exciting Skillathon contest, testing their knowledge in everything from feed ID to equipment, breed identification, and more.
👩‍⚕️ A highlight for many was the sheep lambing simulator, where youth got a hands-on look at the birthing process and learned about lamb care from start to finish.
🐑🥩 And to top it off, an in-depth session on wool and meat judging gave participants a better understanding of fleece quality, carcass evaluation, and the important traits that drive value in the industry.

The future of the sheep and goat industry is bright! 💪🐏

Major Show Sheep & Goat Tag Orders open AUGUST 11TH!! REMINDER: Tag prices increase this season to $25/tag for early orders and $30/tag for late orders. Any left over tags from State Fair 2025 (green tag faces) CAN be used to validate projects for Majors 2026.
