🚑 Exciting news! Shannon Hospitals has partnered with our Intro to Health Science classes to offer VR simulations that let students experience real-world healthcare scenarios, like assisting at a car crash or working in an emergency room.

Huge thanks to Shannon Hospitals for helping our students get hands-on learning and prepare for future healthcare careers! 🙌

Coach Weaver's Counseling and Mental Health classes learned about the physiological and mental stressors through the different stages of life.

After reviewing and understanding all of the stages, they traced a classmate and filled in information about the stressors and physiological changes of a Central High School student!

🚗💨 Our engineering students are putting their skills to the test by creating CO2 dragster racecars! Through this exciting project, they're learning about open and closed systems, and diving deep into the calculations of momentum and kinetic energy. Science and engineering in action! 🧪🔧

Our students had an incredible opportunity to work with the bright and enthusiastic 5th graders from Fort Concho! They spent the morning teaching them about business etiquette and professionalism. 🤝✨

The students practiced professional greetings and handshakes, learning valuable skills that will serve them well in the future. We're so proud of our DECA team for sharing their knowledge and making a positive impact on our community! 💼👏

Mrs. Maskill's Intro to Culinary classes have been cooking up something special to show their gratitude to our incredible teachers! 🍰✨ This week, they whipped up some delicious cake pops and personally delivered them to their favorite teachers as a token of appreciation. 🍭💖 From sprinkles to chocolate drizzle, each pop was made with love and gratitude for all the hard work our teachers put in day after day. 🌟 🎂🍭

Kudos to Central High School DECA for securing a spot in the international competition for the fourth consecutive year! Fresh off an exhilarating five days in Anaheim, CA, eight students seized the chance to compete and network with peers from across the globe at a gathering of over 20,000 attendees. They've truly done San Angelo ISD and the Central Bobcats proud!

⭐️ Today, our CHS FFA teams showcased their skills at the Angelo State CDEs, competing in categories such as horse, cotton, milk quality, and land assessment.
⭐️ Looking ahead, they are gearing up for the Ag Sales & Land competition at Tarleton on Wednesday, followed by an exciting trip to Texas Tech University on Friday, where the horse and milk quality teams will shine. 🧡💙💛
