Traditional weekly care isn’t our only option!

At Major Milestones, I understand that not every family needs full-time, Monday–Friday childcare. That’s why I offer a few different options to help make infant care a little more flexible for local families. 🤍

👶 Part-Time Care
Need care 3 days a week or less? Part-time care may be a great fit for your family!

🍼 Drop-In Care
Need childcare every now and then? I also offer drop-in care by the hour when availability allows, perfect for those occasional appointments, errands, work needs, or just when you need an extra set of hands.

Whether you need consistent weekly care or something a little more flexible, Major Milestones may have an option that works for you! 💕

If you ever see a toy, rug, bookshelf, bassinet, activity, or even a little detail in my daycare that you love, just ask. I’m always happy to share where it came from.

Creating a calm, beautiful, and engaging space for little ones shouldn’t feel like a secret. If I found something that’s been a favorite, I’d love for it to become a favorite in your home or classroom, too.

🎉 ONE YEAR OF MAJOR MILESTONES! 🎉

Today marks ONE YEAR since I opened the doors to Major Milestones, and what an incredible year it has been. 🩷

Over the past year, I’ve had the privilege of loving, caring for, and watching some amazing little ones grow through so many “firsts”—first smiles, first crawls, first steps, first words, and so many other major milestones. There is truly no greater honor than being trusted to care for your babies.

To every family who has chosen Major Milestones, thank you. Thank you for your trust, your support, your referrals, your kind words, and for allowing me to be a small part of your child’s story. It means more than you’ll ever know.

This past year has taught me so much, and I’m excited for everything still to come. I look forward to continuing to provide a safe, loving, and nurturing environment where every child can learn, grow, and thrive.

Here’s to another year of cuddles, giggles, learning, and celebrating every milestone—because at Major Milestones, every milestone is a major one. 💛

One of the hardest goodbyes today. 😭💙

Today, I said goodbye to the very first baby I ever welcomed into my home for daycare. The very first little one who made Major Milestones feel like more than just a dream, he became a part of our family. 🥹

I still remember that quiet little baby who first came through my door, and somehow, right before my eyes, he grew into the sweetest, funniest, most rambunctious little toddler. I’ve loved every bit of his craziness, his little personality, his giggles, his milestones, and all those tiny moments that I was lucky enough to witness.

And today, those little steps that I’ve watched grow stronger and faster are walking him right out of my program. 😭

He may have aged out of Major Milestones, but he will never age out of my heart. ❤️

I’m going to miss those little steps, that sweet face, and all of his craziness more than I can put into words but I know he’s more than ready to take on all of the challenges toddler-hood has for him!

Because every milestone is a major one. 💫🥹

NEW BABIES, NEW ROOM… AGAIN! 🍼🤎

Major Milestones has been busy growing and that means it was time to give our little ones a fresh new space! 🥰

The new setup gives the babies plenty of room to move, explore, play, learn, and grow while keeping that cozy, home-like feeling that makes Major Milestones special. 🤎

From tummy time and crawling through the colorful tunnel to snuggles, books, sensory play, and all those little everyday milestones…this room is made for babies. 🥹🍼

I am so looking forward to welcoming the new babies and their families this week! I can’t wait to get to know each of you and begin sharing all those sweet little milestones together. 🤎

And yes… I’m sure I’ll rearrange it again before too long. 😂

Because every milestone is a major one. 💫

Some have asked how they can help make my dream of a tiny Tike town a reality so I’ve put together an Amazon Wish List with items we’ll need to help bring this dream to life. I’ll post the link in the comments if you’d like to take a peek. Every item, no matter how big or small, helps me get one step closer to making this special place a reality for our little ones.

Also, if you know of anyone selling Step2 playhouses, Little Tikes play equipment, outdoor play items, or anything else that would be perfect for our little town, please tag me in the post or send it my way! I’m happy to buy secondhand, too.

✨ Big dreams are in the works at Major Milestones! ✨

I’m so excited to start creating our very own Little Tike Town—a tiny outdoor town where little imaginations can run wild! 🏡🍦🌮🌻

The vision is to transform our backyard into a child-sized community with things like:
• An ice cream shop 🍦
• A farmers market 🥕
• A taco stand 🌮
• A park & picnic area 🌳
• A mechanic shop 🚗
• And so much more!

This will become part of our daily outdoor play, giving the babies a fun, hands-on space to explore, pretend, learn, and build social skills.

As I start this project, I wanted to reach out to our amazing community. If you have any gently used Little Tikes, Step2, KidKraft, playhouses, outdoor toys, ride-on toys, toy vehicles, pretend play items, or other child-sized outdoor equipment collecting dust, I’d love to give them a second life!

Every donation will help create a magical place for the little ones in my care. ❤️

Painting with Ice Cream Cones! 🎨🍦

Who says ice cream cones are just for eating? Today we turned them into paint stamps for a fun sensory art activity!

Using waffle cones as our painting tools gave little hands a chance to:
🍦 Explore new textures
🎨 Experiment with colors and patterns
🤲 Strengthen fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
✨ Create without worrying about making a “perfect” picture

At this age, it’s all about the process not the final product. Watching their curiosity take over as they stamped, swirled, and explored was the best part! 💕

Because at Major Milestones, every milestone is a major one. 💫
