Libby Welker has demonstrated a high level of academic rigor and intellectual engagement throughout her graduate studies. Her work consistently reflects critical thinking, depth of analysis, and the ability to integrate complex counseling concepts, particularly in areas related to multicultural competence, trauma-informed care, and ethical practice.

Her practicum experience at the Children’s Advocacy Center showcases her ability to translate knowledge into practice, supporting children experiencing trauma with skill, compassion, and professionalism.

The 2026 Student Innovation Hackathon was a huge success! 🎉

A big thank you to Plantible Foods for partnering with us to create this year’s challenge and inspire our students to think big.

Students spent the day collaborating, problem-solving, and turning big ideas into innovative solutions. The evening wrapped up with team presentations, dinner from Texas Roadhouse & Nothing Bundt Cakes, and awards as participants showcased their hard work in front of judges, sponsors, and supporters.

We are so proud of the creativity, professionalism, and dedication our students demonstrated throughout the event. A big thank you to our sponsors, volunteers from Angelo State STEM Outreach and community partners for making this opportunity possible!
