You are enough π
Do you ever get to the end of the day and start replaying everything?
I should have been more patient.
I should have played more.
I should have listened better.
I should have done more.
I've learned that perfectionism doesn't always sound like "I need to be perfect."
Sometimes it sounds like:
"I could have done more."
And as parents, that voice can be especially loud.
But our children don't need us to get every moment right.
They need a parent who can pause.
A parent who can repair.
A parent who can say, "I'm sorry."
A parent who can come back.
Maybe being a good parent isn't about doing enough every single day.
Maybe it's about trusting that we are enough while we're still learning.
π€ If you could let go of one parenting expectation today, what would it be?
