Although our season ended yesterday, there’s still a whole lot of potential for the future of our program.

We’d like to take a second and shoutout our alumni Donivan Giangregorio who is in his final year of College eligibility with Dickinson state, who just qualified to the NAIA nationals tournament in a few weeks! Congrats Vin we are so proud of you!!

No trip to Bakersfield after this years Masters Championship, but a whole lot to look back on and be proud of. We brought 9 wrestlers, 6 boys, 3 girls to this years championship, and at the end of day 2, Vanessa Lee made it on the podium finishing 7th in the section!
Though we’ll miss our seniors, we’ll be back for more hardware, and to punch our tickets to State next year!

Did somebody say that Mat hoist needed more blue on it? The team wrestled outstanding this weekend, scoring 203.5 team points, and winning the tournament by a 30 point lead! A great section championship highlighted by 7 medalists. Alex Hawkins, Owen Shahan and Bear Fulgham all crowned champions, while Arliss (AJ) Kosta, Logan Martin and Riley Arias secured third place! Xavier Meza wrestled a great tournament and ended in 6th place. EVERY kid did their part, preparation, effort and culture won the weekend. We love that Blue laundry.

10 minutes down the road, our ladies wrestled at the Sac Joaquin regional tournament! Where Storey Kancianich placed 4th, Lily Valencia and Vanessa Lee both placed 5th, and will be joining the boys at the masters tournament next weekend!

First of all, we would like to say a huge thank you to all parents, alumni, and helpers on making today a huge success. We didn’t have to worry about technical difficulties or issues running the tournament due to all of your help and effort towards this program.

Secondly, our kids wrestled lights out! We put 11 varsity boys wrestlers into the finals, and 8 walked away with champion brackets! Our girls team came in with three, and walked out with three league champions! Our JV squad brought home 3 golds as well!
As a team we walked away with the MLL championship, scoring 265.5 team points!

Team lists are announced for Saturdays section duals! We will be wrestling D5, weighing in at 10:45, wrestling our first round at 12:45. Lincoln HS in Stockton, we chase more blue!

Senior night 2026 was a success! Huge thank you to everyone who came out to support our team, and our 8 seniors. Thank you to our seniors, Robert Plowman, Jordan Lyles, Nathan “Buddy” Kavanagh, Kodey Paulson, Keagen Brown, Alex Hawkins, Elias Garcia and Bear Fulgham for your commitment to this program.

We beat BH 63-15, and really wrestled well!
