Orientation will be held in the ๐๐ข๐ง๐ž ๐‹๐š๐ค๐ž ๐ ๐ฒ๐ฆ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ฐ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐ซ๐ฎ๐ง ๐Ÿ๐ซ๐จ๐ฆ ๐Ÿ–:๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ๐š๐ฆ - ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ:๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ๐ฉ๐ฆ. Students should enter the school through the main doors, and will be picked up from the parking lot or allowed to walk off campus. Any student arriving at campus on a rideable should dismount from their bike/scooter and walk through campus to the bike racks; we encourage you to lock your rideable.

During Orientation, youโ€™ll meet two awesome 8th grade Compass Leaders, meet a few 6th grade teachers, meet fellow 6th graders, play fun games and get a tour of your new school.

Orientation will be run by three Pine Lake 6th Grade Teachers (Mr. Ensey, Mr. Berg, and Mr. Adams) and our amazing 8th Grade Compass Leaders. Dear Pine Lake families!

You may have heard about how Pine Lake is supporting the Issaquah and Carnation Food and Clothing Banks. This fundraiser is being run by a group of 8th graders who are true servant leaders!

There are TWO ways you can support these amazing organizations... โค๏ธ

1. Send in canned food with your child until this Friday. The food banks are low (especially in the summer), and they need our help. ๐Ÿฅซ

2. Donate socks! ๐Ÿงฆ

Here is more information regarding the studentโ€™s sock drive.

We are Aarna, Ola, Skye, and Nala, four 8th graders in Mr. Enseyโ€™s Leadership class. As temperatures get colder, clean and warm socks can help protect people from harsh weather conditions and keep them healthier and safer. Something that may seem small to us can mean so much to someone else.

We are working on a project called Socks 4 Souls. Our goal is to collect 200 pairs of socks to donate to the Issaquah Food and Clothing Center. Right now, socks are in high demand and are one of the most needed items in shelters and clothing centers.

So far, we have collected 122 pairs of socks and are a little more than halfway to reaching our goal. We are asking for your support by donating new pairs of socks to help people in our community who are experiencing homelessness or struggling financially. Even a small donation can make a big difference.

We appreciate any donations and help in spreading awareness about our project. Together, we can make a positive impact in our community. You might not be changing the world, but even if we help one person, we have made a difference.
