Greetings Everyone!
We are a Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) at Skyline High School in Sammamish. Our main focus is preparing for competitive mock trial tournaments and we also are working to expand our community involvement and outreach. If you have visited the Holiday Bazaar at Skyline HS in December, we are the group of students who have hosted that event for the past 3 years.
As mentioned, one of our goals for the future is to offer various types of community events, and to branch out to different social media platforms to advertise these events. Not many high school students are on Facebook these days, so our advisor and Skyline CTE Teacher, Curtis von Trapp, is helping here.

On Thursday, May 21st, we will be hosting a viewing of the 2026 Trail Running Film Festival at Skyline High School in Sammamish!

The film will be shown in our school theater. Doors open at 5:30pm and the viewing will begin at 6pm. We plan to offer door prizes and will have concessions available.

This is being held as a fundraiser to support our planned trip to compete in Empire Mock Trial’s Constitution Classic tournament in Philadelphia this coming October.

The weekend of March 20–22, Skyline’s Green and Silver Mock Trial teams traveled to Tacoma to compete with 26 of Washington State’s top teams at the YMCA Youth & Government State Mock Trial Tournament held at the Pierce County Superior Court. Competitive rounds began Friday evening and continued through Saturday, with the final round concluding early Saturday evening — over 12 hours of competition in total.

Both teams performed strongly, each finishing with a 3–1 record and earning 8 ballots out of a possible 12. Skyline Silver placed 9th and Skyline Green placed 8th overall.

Individual students also received nominations for Best Witness and Best Attorney from the three raters in each round. Nominees from Skyline include:
