If you love popcorn and Dolly, consider helping Edgefield County First Steps To School Readiness with their fundraising.

We are celebrating Give Like Dolly Day with the kickoff of our Double Good popcorn fundraiser. Our goal is $3,000 and every dollar we make goes directly to pay for books for children enrolled in the Dolly Parton's Imagination Library program in Edgefield County. Please consider ordering from the link that will be in the comments and help us get more children enrolled!

Did you know getting a library card is free? And getting one can give you access to so many cool and FREE things. Let’s take a look at just what a library card can give you access to:

Books and DVD’s: You probably already knew this one but did you know if you can’t find a book or dvd here, that you can get one shipped to our library from one of the other 26 counties we’re partnered with across the state through SC Lends.

Games: We have different card games and board games available for you to choose from.

Launchpads and Whazoodles: Check out our launchpads with educational games and videos on them or our whazoodles with educational songs.

Seeds: You can drop by the library anytime and get up to 5 free seed packets from our seed library everyday.

E-Books and Audiobooks: Get free access to tons of e-books and audiobooks through Libby with your library card for free.

Free Movies and TV Shows: Get free access to thousands of free digital movies and tv shows with your library card through Kanopy.

Woah, that’s a lot of free stuff but that’s not even all the library offers. Stop by the library or check out our website to see all of our programs going on. No matter what age or who you are, we have something for you.
