Oops! We accidentally missed kindergarten when handing out lanyards yesterday for our fundraiser. They will bring home their lanyards today. Thanks so much to everyone who has participated!

Parents, your child will arrive home today with a lanyard for a library fundraiser! Simply scan the QR code on the lanyard and follow the directions in the link (same one as below). Once you complete the signup process and send a few emails and texts, a code will pop up on your phone or computer. Please write it in the orange Prize Code box on your student's lanyard and send it back to school with them the next day. Each student who presents a valid code will get a stuffed animal bracelet!

The texts and emails you send contain a link to a store associated with SES. If people order or donate from the link, your students can earn more prizes and the school gets more money; however, there is no cost to receive the animal bracelet.

Saltville Elementary is excited to kick off our Little Caesars Pizza Fundraiser, and this year your purchase can help us make a BIG difference for our students! 🐾💙

🛝 Students in PK–3rd and 5th grade are raising money to help us purchase a NEW PLAYGROUND for SES! Our students deserve a fun, safe, and exciting place to play, and every pizza sold will help us get one step closer to making that dream a reality!

🚌 4th Grade: Money raised by our 4th-grade students will go directly toward helping with the cost of their field trip.

Our theme this year is-
Panther Passport: Your Journey to Excellence Starts Here! ✈️💙

Well…our Panther Passport took us on an unexpected adventure today! 🌪️

We certainly learned a lot, but most importantly, we learned how to stay safe during a tornado warning! Our students and staff did an amazing job quickly moving to our safe areas and following our tornado procedures—even when the warning happened right before parent pick-up!

A huge THANK YOU to our parents and families for your patience, understanding, and cooperation this afternoon. We know the delay was unexpected, but keeping our Panthers safe will always be our first priority. 🐾❤️

We can officially stamp “Tornado Safety” in our Panther Passports! ✅🌪️

Hopefully, this is one adventure we never have to take again! 😅

Other than that- we had a great first day back!
