Antoinette Badenhorst demonstrates in a series of videos her process for preparing tiles to test raw materials in a pottery kiln. She employs a template for all the tiles. Subsequently, she applies the ceramic materials to the tiles, adds water, and smears them into a paste. The tiles are then left to dry. This test tile undergoes firing in a ceramic kiln, and the test results are utilized to determine the suitability of the pottery raw materials for her studio pottery.
