Microeconomy students sold artisanal sodas and treats while our other students read to children in the library. Thank you Elizabeth Academy for hosting!

October 2nd was National Custodian Day. LEAP students wanted to honor our EA Maintenance Team. We prepared a delicious sourdough pizza and salad lunch for them. We learned more about their jobs and played a trivia game to see who knew the most fun details about them. Thank you for keeping us safe and healthy at college!

As the school year progresses we see the bonds that are built by building a community together.

Other happenings on the LEAP campus this week: hanging out with friends, meeting Makyla (our school social worker) to talk about mental health, and working to restore our environment before leaving today.

Students explored the Nature Center at Pia Okwai for our first monthly out and about. They enjoyed exploring, journaling and preparing their picnic.

Welcome to LEAP! First day is always fun to come together and start the school year adventure.

This week the team is getting ready to welcome our first cohort of LEAP students by attending trainings and preparing the classrooms! We are so excited for classes to start next week.
