Black Friday. We had hundreds of them through the years. Masses of hysterical people running around screaming. It was awesome. Thankfully, no one got hurt and everyone had a great time. So this, in a way, is in remembrance of all those Fridays...

This RPHH documentary is 10 years old. It was made to celebrate our 25th season in 2005 and was played in our queue line. I have repackaged it and you can now purchase a copy through messaging Cydney Neil.

We finally have all the footage from 1979 to 2007 re-digitized now. I'm still moving forward on the second, but very slowly...the footage is all outdated now, but I think our story is more powerful than ever...we'll see if it is ever meant to be told...

It was after midnight when I left my office on Saturday. My car was on empty so I stopped for gas. It was quite cold and two men were standing outside the store. They didn't look like they had any money so I offered to buy them some coffee and food. As soon as I did, one of them recognized me, "Cyd, is that you?" he asked. It turned out to be one of my actors from Rocky Point and he, along with his friend, are homeless. I bought them bags of food, gave them some money and a big, long hug...it broke my heart and I haven't been able to forget about it....I wish I'd done more....you never know when that "homeless person" might be someone you know...I hope we can all take some time to find out who in our circles of friends or family might need our help this holiday season. And if anyone knows of any Rocky Point cast or crew member who is homeless or in desperate need, please message me personally.

I rarely thank "The Maniacs", a talented local theater group who loved all things Rocky Point and Halloween, that kept the Haunted House going after my brother left and before I came along...it may not have remained open without them...This original Goth group was a bit wild and crazy, and our relationship didn't last long, but they will always be an important part of the Rocky Point Haunted House history and deserve a big "Thank you!"
