Yesterday, the Skaggs Catholic Center campus was filled with faith, joy, and the Holy Spirit as we gathered for a beautiful Mass of the Holy Spirit, celebrated by The Most Reverend Bishop Oscar Solis.

What a blessing to begin the school year together in prayer, asking the Holy Spirit to guide our students, teachers, families, and Catholic school communities throughout the year ahead. 🕊️

Bishop Solis closed by asking the students to pray and focus on three things, “The Holy Spirit is with us. Remember to pray these three things: 1. Holy Spirit breathe life in me. 2, Holy Spirit fill my heart with love and 3. Holy Spirit give me the power to live and serve. Fill my heart and bless my hands to become instruments of love and grace.”

Come, Holy Spirit, and renew our hearts!

A beautiful story of faith, family and the impact of Catholic education. ❤️✝️

The Salt Lake Tribune recently shared the Starks family’s journey to the Catholic faith. Their son, a student at Juan Diego Catholic High School, first found his way to the Church through his school theology classroom. His journey inspired his parents to explore the faith themselves. This spring, they were baptized.

It’s a beautiful reminder that the impact of Catholic education reaches far beyond the classroom and can touch entire families.

For nearly five decades, Dr. Colosimo has inspired generations of students, families, faculty, and staff through his unwavering dedication to Catholic education. His leadership and commitment have left a lasting impact and helped shape the future of our school communities.

Graduation season is a special time across Utah Catholic Schools as we celebrate faith, achievement, and the bright futures of our seniors. 🎓

This past week, two of Utah’s three Catholic high schools — Judge Memorial Catholic High School and Saint Joseph Catholic High School — gathered with students, families, faculty, and friends at the beautiful Cathedral of the Madeleine to celebrate Baccalaureate Mass ahead of commencement exercises taking place this weekend.

We also look forward to celebrating the graduating seniors of Juan Diego Catholic High School as their Baccalaureate Mass and commencement ceremonies take place this coming week.

Congratulations to the Class of 2026! May you continue to lead with faith, serve with compassion, and carry the values of Catholic education into the world. We are proud of each and every one of you. ❤️💙
