Just a few days to go! Join us at Clark Planetarium for a FREE public watch party of the launch of NASA’s Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope on Sunday, August 30 at 5:20 AM.

Doors open at 5:00 AM, with NASA LIVE streaming in the Northrop Grumman IMAX Theatre. Come watch as Roman begins its journey to help scientists explore dark energy, dark matter, distant worlds, and the universe like never before.

Bring your fellow space enthusiasts, grab some coffee, and join us for this historic launch!

Look up! A lunar eclipse is coming!

On August 27, Earth’s shadow will sweep across the Moon, creating a beautiful partial lunar eclipse visible from Utah. The eclipse begins around 7:23 PM (although moonrise isn't until 7:59 PM Mountain Time), with maximum eclipse at 10:12 PM. Roughly 93% of the Moon will be eclipse during this event - no eclipse with better total coverage will occur until June of 2029.
